As the representative of RBOA on the Boat Safety Scheme Advisory Committee, I have received the following information from the National Navigation Users’ Forum’s Andy Wilkinson, National Navigation Manager.
This is to let you know that we and the Canal & River Trust, as navigation authority owners of the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), have taken the decision to extend the temporary suspension of BSS examination activity to 30 April, as we continue to manage our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BSS has informed Examiners by newsletter and social media will also be used to support this announcement.
