The Canal & River Trust (CRT) have just published the report on the Future of Licensing, which they commissioned. It is difficult to exaggerate how important this document is and the potential impact of CRT’s reaction on the residential/liveaboard community will be.
Please read the report, consider what your thoughts and feelings are about it and what we (the RBOA) can do in response to this. Specifically, which areas you are most concerned about and what questions and suggestions you have. On the 17th January we are holding an open meeting to discuss the report and to consider what the RBOA’s reaction to it should be. We are delighted to announce that Penny Barber, one of the three commissioners, has agreed to join us to join in the debate and to answer questions.
We are aiming for the meeting to be blended, with the option to join us both in person and online on the 17th January. The venue, timings and registration details will be announced in the coming weeks.
